Introducing the 7 tube G-FLY LIVE FLYER BUCKET
After extensive testing of this configuration of live tubes and much trial and error we are now ready to offer them to public.
This system comes equipped with a 3/4” female garden hose fitting that is a quick plug and play to fit most small boat wash down pumps. Also featured is an inline ball valve for flow adjustment and an internal manifold supplying each of the tubes an even flow keeping water constantly running over the fish’s gills. An independent through hole pump (12v or 110v) is ideal but a small 110v sump pump off the top of a bait well has proven adequate. Multiple buckets can be ran off of larger pumps via a hose splitter with a large enough pump (110v or higher flow 12V). This system is ideal for smaller boats but has been found on the deck of larger Sport-fishers as well.
Achieving optimum flow is necessary for keeping the flyers alive. A steady flooding is what we have found effective and you’ll need to find that with your particular pump. Once that is achieved the flyers have a life span in the tubes of upwards of 12 hours. (Lifespan varies with pump output, flow rate, etc.)
**Once bucket is plumbed in and in use it should be placed near a scupper or on a swim step as it isn’t a recirculating system. Water constantly flows through the system and floods from the top of the bucket.**
MADE IN THE USA. Each bucket is hand crafted in Southern California. Being that they are made one at a time there could be slight variances in design or individual units. Any questions, comments, feedback we’d like to be the first to hear. Email: gflybaits@gmail.com
UPDATE: VIDEO SHOWS ORIGINAL DESIGN. We’ve since lengthened the tubes to submerge and secure the flyers tails.
